By purchasing a spot on panamacaribbeanfood.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not complete the booking.

1. About us

Panama Caribbean Food organizes culinary and travel experiences for the Panamanian community in Toronto / GTA (Canada). We operate under the laws of Ontario, Canada.

2. Purchase and payment

  • Prices are displayed in USD as a reference and charged in CAD (Canadian dollars). The exact CAD amount is shown before completing payment.
  • Payment is processed securely through Square. We do NOT have access to your card information.
  • The purchase is considered final once the charge is confirmed and the confirmation email is sent.

3. No-refund policy

All purchases are final and non-refundable. This policy applies even if you cannot attend the event for personal reasons (illness, schedule, transportation, etc.).

As an exception, if we cancel the event for operational or force-majeure reasons, we offer at your choice: (a) a full refund of the amount charged, or (b) credit for the same amount toward a future event.

4. Spot transfers

If you cannot attend, you may transfer your spot to another person by notifying us via WhatsApp at least 48 hours before the event, providing the full name and contact of the new attendee.

5. Changes to the event

We reserve the right to modify the date, time, or itinerary for operational or force-majeure reasons (weather, logistics, government restrictions). We will notify you as far in advance as possible at the email or WhatsApp used for booking.

6. Expected conduct

  • Respectful and courteous behavior toward other attendees and the organizing team.
  • Punctuality at the meeting point and time. We do not wait for late arrivals.
  • Comply with the rules of the transportation operator and venues visited.
  • We reserve the right to remove anyone from the event (without refund) who jeopardizes the safety or enjoyment of the group.

7. Infants and minors

Infants ≤2 years travel on a parent’s lap (no assigned seat). The optional boat tour is free for them per the operator’s (Niagara City Cruises) policy, subject to change without prior notice.

8. Limitation of liability

Panama Caribbean Food acts as a package organizer. The actual operation of transportation and on-site services (falls, restaurants, boat tour) is carried out by third parties. We are not liable for damages, injuries, or losses caused by external providers.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada. Any dispute will be resolved in its competent courts.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version in effect at the time of your purchase is the one that applies to your booking.
